Puzzlesolvers is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by three women who wanted to provide resources and opportunities for families in the Cortland County area affected by Autism. Our mission is simple…to provide resources, increase awareness and raise funds for families and individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorder so they can enhance their quality of life.. In the first year of our creation we participated in the 1st Annual Walk Now For Autism at Long Branch Park in Liverpool NY and raised over $3,000. Since then we have grown into a family of autism supporters. We give back to Cortland area families affected by autism.
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO ONE OF THREE AREAS:
1. TO SERVE AS A RESOURCES TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN ON THE SPECTRUM
2. TO INCREASE AUTISM AWARENESS
3. TO SUPPORT FUNDRAISING, RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ACTIVITIES
To provide resources and raise funds for autism awareness so that families and indviduals living with autism spectrum disorder may have a beautiful life and to educate the world to be more compassionate and understanding of all individual differences.
Through the generous contributions of community members throughout Cortland and contiguous counties Puzzle Solvers, Inc. is able to donate back to individuals, families, schools and provider agencies to improve the quality of life for people impacted by ASD. Currently, requests are restricted to Cortland County residents and can include, but are not limited to, communication devices, complimentary therapies, adaptive toys, ABA therapy, travel expenses to doctor appointments, and more.
